Help Noah Mcever’s family

Hi everyone, I’m raising money for my sister.

(Message from my sister on what happened)

On Tuesday 2/21/23., Noah’s school had called me an hour after drop off saying he’s complaining of a headache and nausea. After I picked Noah up he slept a that day and complained about a headache and later that night began vomiting. I brought him to the ED where we worked him up for viral infections which all came back negative. And then we got a CT. This CT unfortunately showed a 6cm mass in our baby’s brain. Noah had started to seize and need to be intubated before transport to Arnold Palmer. When we arrived Noah had started to rapidly decline. He had another seizure and a change in pupils and reflexes. We were hopeful this was only due to a seizure His MRI did not reflect his presentation so he was taken to the OR. After 6 hours the surgeon told us Noah did very well hemodynamically very stable, he resected most of the tumor but the tumor was very aggressive and malignant and took up 1/3 of the right side of his brain and he had to be given 7 units blood, his pupils and reflexes did not reflect a change like we were hoping. He was taken off sedation and he had no changes. He was declared brain dead at 11:36am on 02/24/23 we were anticipating we would be able to have Noah donate his organs but unfortunately the tumor was a very high grade and very aggressive glioblastoma and they found it unsafe to risk other patients so we withdrew care yesterday on 2/25/23 and we held my beautiful baby in our arms as we said our goodbyes. We are so so blessed to have the medical staff that we did and the absolute best doctors and nurses were involved in this and every single person treated our baby as their own. I ask that people respect our privacy during this difficult time we understand and are so grateful for love and support but all we ask right now is to pray for my family as we navigate this life without my baby, and please keep private messages to a minimum at this time. I would like to be able to donate/gift her with the funds needed to pay for my nephews funeral service as well as some extra money to cover her living expenses for a month or 2, so she can take some time off work to focus on her family and 3 other children.

Noah was a very smart, loving and shy boy who LOVED being the big brother in his family. He was obsessed with Pokémon and dinosaurs as well as anything science related.

I greatly appreciate everyone who helps spread this message and I hope to be able to eliminate as much of my sisters stress as possible during these traumatic times.
I will post updates on service date when it’s selected.
