Jamie's Breast Cancer Fight

Hi, my name is Allison and my family and I am fundraising for my sister Jamie, who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Jamie was diagnosed on October 16th at 37 years young and underwent a lumpectomy on October 31st. Though the surgery happened quickly, her fight will take much longer. Countless tests and doctor appointments over the last few weeks have shown us that she needs both chemotherapy and radiation. On top of this, chemotherapy also brings the risk of not being able to have children in the future.

Jamie is an unbelievably strong person and she will fight through this. But the financial burden of it all is extreme and medical insurance will not cover many of her costs. The fertility costs alone are over $10,000. On top of that she'll need some time away from her job to focus on her recovery.

We have started this page in an effort to help minimize some of the stress for Jamie. No donation is too big or too small; any donation that is made will greatly help her with her medical bills. Those that don't already know Jamie, know she is one of a kind. She has a huge heart and will do anything to support her friends & family.
