Help Kamel Rebuild His Future and Education

My name is Kamel El-Sheikh, and I am 24 years old. I live in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. I created this link to raise funds that will help me rebuild my life, which has lost all its foundations due to the war. When the occupation forces entered the Al-Shuja’iyya, our home were completely destroyed.

I am a Multimedia student in my final semester, having paused my studies earlier for a job that I lost due to the war. Despite the difficult conditions, I’m continuing my education. Poor internet and power outages force me to walk 4 kilometers daily to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital to charge my laptop and use the internet for lectures and exams. I carry two bags on my back and shoulders as I walk this distance daily .

On March 18, 2023, the occupation forces entered the area around Al-Shifa Hospital, trapping me inside. The house we were in was bombed on the second day, forcing about forty of us into a cramped space with little water and food. After 10 days, despite the military presence, my friend and I escaped. The siege left me with psychological scars, and fear has since been my constant companion.

The amount of food that was provided to each person during the siege:

Two months ago, I tried to announce my return to work in logo design to support myself and my family in meeting basic needs. I made this announcement through my personal Twitter account and created many designs during this period. Unfortunately, due to the poor conditions in the place where I work, I have started suffering from back and neck pain. As I mentioned earlier, I also need to go to the hospital to access electricity and internet to complete my tasks.

I am doing my best to improve myself despite limited resources. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to a secure future.
