Help The Bowman Family

This is a fundraiser to help the Bowman Family with financial relief during this difficult time while their 4 month old daughter is being evaluated and treated at the hospital. This will help tremendously to get them through the next few months to replace loss of income.

Olivia was admitted in the hospital last week & was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, which causes increased pressure in her lungs. She also was found to be aspirating due to her not swallowing properly, which caused her lungs to be irritated and inflamed. Her pulmonary pressure is coming down but she is still struggling with her breathing from the inflammation. Air is also being trapped in her lungs from the inflammation causing narrowing in her diaphragm. They have her on a BiPaP machine for oxygen and have her lightly sedated in the hope that she can rest and heal properly. They will do a swallow study once she gets a little better to evaluate the issue with aspiration. There is talk about her being on a breathing tube if bipap mask doesn’t seem to work.
