Help Make The Worries Disappear

Donation protected
My name is Stephani Ross. I am the oldest of 9 children born to the same mother and father. Looking back on my childhood there really isnt much I can complain about. We always had a roof over our heads and full bellies. As time passed by some of us had moved out, My father John Newcomb had a stroke which left him partially disabled. By this time there were 2 grandkids added to the picture. So my mom took on 2 full time jobs to make sure the bills wouldnt get too far behind. Besides my father becoming sick and having a lengthy hospitilazion his speedy recovery seems to make everything go back to the normal... Or so we thought!! In October of 2014 my sweet mother Carol Skala Janic was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. They removed the mass and one of her kidney's on Oct 27th. The mass unfortunately ruptured during surgery and the cancer spread to her muscle and lungs. They have tried different Chemo pills at different doses but when my mother takes them she gets a mouth full of sores and is sicker that she should be. This caused the doctor to stop treatment temporarily. My mom makes numerous trips every week driving anywhere from Mt.Vernon all the way to The Cancer Center in Barnes. She is in constant excruciating pain and it takes every ounce of energy she has left to go to work.... but with my mom being the devoted strong willed woman she is she manages to do so anyway. Now let me back track for a moment. In December of 2012 God saw fit to bring my now step dad into our moms life and boy did he know what he was doing when he did that. My Step Dad Guy is by far the most kind-hearted and compassionate man I have ever met in my 31 years of life. He has a love for my mom that you only see in fairytales. He truly loves her more than life itself. Unfortunately Love doesn't pay for umexpected expenses such as gas to get to and from the numerous doctors appointments or the tests and the medicine that her insurance doesn't cover. My mom has never asked for much growing up so right now I'm asking for help for her. If you can contribute in any way to make this a little easier on her and my step dad it would be appreciated beyond words and if you aren't in the position to do so please just take a second and pray for my mom because that means just as much to our family. My mother and I may butt heads 99% of the time but that doesnt mean i dont love her with every ounce of my heart and I'm not ready to give up on her. Thank you so very much for taking the time out to read this and a Extra huge thank you for your help and prayers. God Bless.
