Hello everybody...

I was told last week I have CMML... chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia.

This is a rare blood cancer that affects 4 out of 1 million people.

My doctors have been monitoring my blood tests for the past 2 and a half years and 6 weeks ago the bone marrow biopsy revealed this condition.

I am accsessing every every available benefit I qualify for, but if approved, will fall far short of what is necessary to make this situation manageable.

I would not be asking for help if it wasn't needed. I wound up taking care of my dad from age 90 to 95 and it sadly has left me without the resources necessary to provide for myself properly.

I am so lucky to still have relationships with many of you over so many years, and if the truth be told, I am more sorry to inform you all of what is happening to me, than finding myself in this awkward situation.
