I'm setting this up to help Val & Janette during this difficult time... Here are his words from a few weeks ago, but if you don't know update, he is presently in the hospital..and they have set up a caring bridge page, you can follow..  I have chosen this amount as a goal that I'm sure we can all meet easily and it's his date of birth.. born on Valentine's Day and how fitting for him as he has given us all so much Love in the days that many of us have known him!!  Mine connection goes all the way back to in the early 70s as he was my youth pastor, but have kept a close connection with his family since then!


As many of you know we have been on journey with End stage Kidney failure and Prostate Cancer, That includes many many different doctor visits and and a lot of... pain and home dialysis for 9 hours each night .After several test and the concerns of where the C. is located,in many places, I will need to begin chemo therapy next Monday. We still are holding dear our friends and families and their welcomed prayers. We also have a deep rooted faith in the Word of God, His promises and that He is still very able to deliver me through His healing and miracles I don't mind talking about it, but a hard question to answer. "Is there anything we can do Val?" On the one hand a Great Italian meal sounds wonderful, yet I am supposed to eat certain ways....yet I have to wonder about that to some degree.Janette is kind of bound to the house, and unable to get places, and I am praying that I can stay strong with little fatigue so I can continue to work.
