BLM 24hrs-24 Miles Challenge BlackGirlCode
The Black Community face racism and systemic oppression 24/7, for their whole lives. Running one mile every hour for a full day is nowhere near as tiring and painful as living in a racist society, but it is one way we are trying to raise awareness and money to help the BLM movement. BlackGirlsCode works hard to fight the racism in our society by empowering young Black girls by helping them find a path towards a future in the STEM fields. We hope to use our privilege to run and raise money so that all girls, regardless of race, have the incredible career opportunities that they deserve.
