Help my brother, Jeb.

Donation protected
As many of you know, my brother Jeb Fiebig sustained a Subarachnoid Brain Hemorrhage on Tuesday, April 14th.

A Subarachnoid Hemorrhage is a sudden bleeding around the brain and is most often caused by a ruptured aneurysm.  Jeb had a sudden, severe headache, dizziness and slurred speech early Tuesday morning on his way to work.

He knew something was not right and had the wherewithal to drive himself to the Emergency Department at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Within an hour of arriving at the ED, he was flown via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Jeb underwent a three-hour brain angiogram to look for blockage and is still in the Neuro ICU at Froedtert. He will undergo a repeat angiogram sometime during the week of April 20th because his physicians think perhaps another aneurysm may exist.

Jeb is not out of the woods.

According to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, 35% of patients die after a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage and another 15% die within a few weeks because of another rupture. Survivors of a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage usually have a much longer recovery time, as well as more serious deficits.  Jeb is very, very lucky not only to survive this, but that he drove himself to the Emergency Department when he recognized something "wasn’t right.”

Those of you that are close to Jeb and are long-time friends know that he has had many difficult years. Jeb is only four weeks away from having his divorce finalized and is working three jobs to make ends meet.

Several hours after his surgery he was so worried about how much all of this would cost and how he was going to pay bills during his recovery. He was also concerned about all of his friends, customers and work colleagues and wanted me to contact everyone to make sure they knew he wouldn’t be in on Tuesday.

That’s just the kind of great guy Jeb is.

Jeb is so thankful for the love of his daughter, Morgan, his sisters, brothers, friends, work colleagues and customers. Many of you have called, texted and asked what you can do.

Which is why I set this up...

If you are interested in donating money for his medical expenses now or in the future, please consider. Anything will help.

Thank you so much.
