Melody’s Medical & Funeral Expenses

Melody is my best friend’s mom & also my mom’s best friend. I was blessed to know Melody, & have her as my “second Mom”, for 23 years. On May 23rd, her 68th birthday, our sweet Melody joined her husband, Mike, in heaven. Melody had been battling cancer on & off for 3 years. Many wouldn’t have even known she was battling cancer because she remained so strong & positive throughout her battle. If you knew Melody, which it seemed like almost everyone did, you know just how special of a soul we lost this week. While we are grateful that Melody is no longer in pain & feeling at peace, this is an incredibly difficult loss for so many people…especially for her two daughters, Mariah & Melia, who also lost their father 10 years ago. Melody’s bond with both of her girls was so special & they handle everything life throws at them with such grace. I created this Go Fund Me, to hopefully take some stress off of Mariah & Melia, as they work on planning their second parent’s funeral arrangements & move forward into a new way of life without their Mom, all while remaining strong for their children.
