All those who know Kari are familiar with her bright smile, vibrant laughter, and sweet personality. She is our sunshine. She and her husband Jamie welcomed their first baby, little Austin, to the world on December 7, 2014. For the last four months Kari has loved being Austins mommy and showering him with love. On April 12, Kari suffered a brain aneurism and had to be air lifted to harborview hospital where neurosurgeons performed brain surgery to clip off the aneurism. Kari is strong and is making improvement each and every day but there is still a long road ahead for recovery. Her husband is staying here in Seattle with her and she has no sick leave left from work as she used it all for her maternity leave to be able to stay home with Austin for three months. Medical bills are accumulating each and every day and any help you could provide for Jamie and Kari would be greatly appreciated.
