Please help Pat McLeod!

About a year ago, Pat was hospitalized for what we that was only a bad case of cellulitis. He was in the hospital for over a week before he was deemed "healthy enough" to go home. Since then, he has never been the same. He has spent the past year seeing many different doctors and specialists as well as undergoing multiple tests all to be told that "nothing was wrong with him and that he needed to exercise more."
Yet, as the year went on, he lost mobility in his right hand and it had became very difficult for him to walk. Due to this, it had become nearly impossible for him to exercise and build strength, but he continued to change his lifestyle, diet, take necessary supplements, and continue his prescribed medication from the doctors.
Although, this would normally help me and you, his body continued to become weaker.  Then a couple of weeks ago, he collapsed at work and couldn't move for 15 minutes. We thought that maybe he had caught a bad case of the flu. After being home in bed and trying to heal, he then developed a bad eye infection. After a few days of no improvement, he saw another Doctor and was sent to the Eye Institute here in Phoenix. After 6 hours of intense and very thourough testing, it was concluded that the eye infection did not, in fact, come from his eye and that it was an infection coming from his body somewhere else. He was then admitted to Banner-University Medical Center (formerly Good Sam). Since this is a university hospital, they are extremely up to date with all the latest diseases and new procedures. The doctors have been working on him non stop since his admittance Monday afternoon.      As of today, they still do not know what the infection is, where it is, or where it is going. Because of the infection, Pat has lost all vision permanently in his "infected" right eye and is having surgery today to remove the eye. Doctors are working anxiously to find and stop the infection before it reaches his other eye and eventually, his brain.
Due to this past year and with both hospital admittances, medical bills have been flooding in and as most people know, are very costly! My family has been exhausting all of their efforts to try and pay these bills, but the bills continue to pile and they are seriously drowning. My sister has been thinking of ways to earn money through her music in order to raise money for my dad's medical bills and that's when I had the thought to start one of these accounts. We know that times are hard for everyone, but I am hoping that if everyone could give even just a little that it would go a long way for my family and bring a little sense of relief.
We still do not know what lies ahead for dad and what treatments he will have to do in the future, so anything would be appreciated! Thank you so much!

Love,
Kennedy (and the rest of the McLeod family)
