Service Dog needed

Hello. My name is Christina Whitley. About 14 1/2 years ago I was in a car accident with fatalities that left me with physical disabilities as well as a severe case of PTSD.
About 9 months after the accident my original doctor recommened I get a pet to help with some of the emotional issues from the accident and to have as a distraction. I found my wonderful friend and companion Dakota. He was not a trained service animal, but actually ended up training himself to become an emotional support/service animal in every respect with the exception that he was not certified. He was my constant companion and helper for 12 1/2 years before I lost him to a health issue about 15 months ago.
Since I have not had him, the PTSD symptoms as well as the physical issues have gotten more severe and now severely limit my ability to even leave my house. My doctors have conferred and agree that a PTSD trained service dog is absolutely necessary for me to be able to regain some of my independence and ability to be able to go out and not have to have somebody with me at all times.
Unfortunately, due to the medical issues I am suffering from I am not able to work and so am unable to come up with the funds necessary to afford a service dog. I have a hard time asking for help, but in this case, I know I need the help because I need the service dog to try to regain some of my life back.
The service dog choosen will not begin his/her training until I can come up with the funds to pay for the training. The sooner I can raise the funds, the sooner I will be able to take ownership of the dog and start to hopefully get some of my life back.
Being able to get this service dog, I believe, will greatly increase my chances of being able to take back some of my life. Right now, if I don't absolutely have to leave my house, I don't. There are days I have a hard time leaving my bedroom and I really believe that being able to get a service dog will improve parts of my life.
