Our family is asking for support for my sister, Amy, a 26 year old wife and loving mother of two beautiful children, a 6 year old son and 2 year old daughter, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) just three weeks ago.
Before this diagnosis, she was working hard in cosmetology school, chasing her dream of becoming a hairstylist and building a better future for her family. Amy is the kind of person who can make anyone laugh, no matter the situation.
Everything changed so suddenly. Amy has already started chemotherapy treatments at UMMC, and the road ahead will be long and challenging. Between treatments, hospital visits, medications, and the emotional toll this has taken on their family, life has become overwhelming very quickly. Her husband has had to miss work to help care for Amy and their children during this difficult time, adding even more financial strain on their household.
We are creating this fundraiser to help ease the burden of medical expenses, lost income, childcare, and everyday bills so Amy can focus on what matters most, fighting this disease and being there for her children. She continues to fight with courage while somehow still managing to make others smile through it all.
Any donation, no matter how small, will help support Amy and her family during this battle. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Most of all, we ask for prayers, for healing, strength, comfort, and hope for the days ahead.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and generosity.
