Hearing the news of our battle buddies loss today simply broke our hearts. “Cancer “ has struck again taking one of our children. We will never forget but wish We could erase the pain of losing your Angel with the wave of a wand. It’s days like these when we ask God why but know that only He can fully understand the larger picture. Today my army Battle buddies 13 year old daughter lost the fight to cancer. Savannah got to meet her creator and her savior. Savannah was not only full of smiles, laughter, and of course sparkle; she was also full of faith, love and compassion. All things that her Mother and Father both made sure she knew of. She was taken from this world way to soon but knowing she was put here with a purpose we rejoice in knowing that she fulfilled that in the eyes of the Lord. She will always be a hero, a fighter, and a role model for so many young girls. Her legacy will live on the hearts of every heart she touched. She lived life with a smile just like the one you see pictures here. It was infectious and even though she is not here today that smile still radiates because I feel her right now smiling down say, “it’s okay. I am at peace but I am with you all.” We are all heart broken because we no longer have you Savannah here in the physical world but We know with all certainty you are with us in our hearts. But even more I can’t wrap my head around how her parents must be feeling. They we warriors together till the very end. Mcgann and Rivas you are the most amazing parents a daughter could have. I only hope We can be of some support to you both during this time. May your Princess Savannah Rest In God’s eternal kingdom . #forever13 #savannastrong #heavensangelOrganizer and beneficiary
