Please join me in prayers for this AMAZING lady! She is such an inspiration to many people! She is a wife, mother of 3 beautiful children, and provides outstanding care to children in her home. Over the past year, she has become one of my best friends!!
Here is her story:
Ok folks, here it is. For those of you who may not know, I am a breast cancer survivor. Five year ago this month, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I did chemo, had a mastectomy, a hysterectomy, reconstruction, and I beat it! Every 6 months, I go in and have blood work done. A week later, I go to my oncologist who tells me that everything looks good, and he'll see me in 6 more months. A couple of weeks ago, I went in for this 6 month blood work and he told me my cancer/tumor markers were 'up'. I told him I had had a cough for about 2 months that didn't seem to getting better. He ordered a chest ex-ray which lead to a CT scan, which lead to a lung biopsy. Today I got the results of that biopsy. It is indeed cancer in my lungs. Today, I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. It means that the cancer has traveled to my lungs. He said that there may have been micro traces of cancer left in me, and it stayed dormant until now. There are many place in both lungs where the cancer is growing, so it is inoperable and incurable. I will have this cancer my whole life, unless God does a miracle in my lungs and cures it. This actually does excite me, because this time around, the doctors and the chemo really can't cure me! It has to be GOD! I gave credit to God before, but we all know the doctors took credit for cutting it out. The scientists and researchers took credit for creating a chemo that killed the cancer. This time, they admit they can't cure it. This time, I get to have my miracle!! So I ask you to please join with me and my family as we pray for God to intervene on my behalf, and be glorified through a miracle!
