Lost the Love of My Life

Calvin Earnest Kossow passed away unexpectedly at the early age of 62 on 12/04/23, leaving behind many grieving family members. Those that knew Calvin, know he was the first person to step up and help those in need. Often it felt as though he was jumping from person to person, fixing cars, patching roofs, and unclogging plumbing. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

The only person he loved more than his wife Sarah was our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Recently, they have been diligently planning their retirement, in preparation for their plans they had purchased a new truck and trailer so they could travel together. He had it all planned out, Sarah had just retired two weeks prior at the age of 72, and he was going to keep working until he was 65, at which point the loans would be paid off so they could travel debt free. Unfortunately, plans do not always work out as we hope, though he had a life insurance policy, regrettably it only covered accidental death, thus leaving his wife with unexpected bills. Family on both sides are helping cover all the funeral costs and Sarahs family are tirelessly working to figure out how to ensure Sarah lands on her feet.

We are hoping to raise a years worth of Calvins salary to help cover Sarah with basic living costs, as well as so she doesn't have to make any fast decisions on things to get rid of that hold memories, and were planned for their future.

We are humbly asking for some financial assistance to help ensure Sarah can live out the retirement they had planned. Proceeds will go directly to Sarah.
