Chemo for Kratos

On 12/16 we noticed Kratos had swollen lymph nodes and on 12/19 we got the worst news possible. Our primary veterinarian dropped the C word. Today, 12/23 the veterinarian oncologist confirmed our 3 year old pit bull, Kratos has cancer. More specifically he has T cell lymphoma. Without treatment the the prognosis was weeks. We couldn’t accept that, so today Kratos had his first chemotherapy treatment, the first of 25 weeks worth of treatments. The total estimate for treatment is $6500.
