Unexpected Death of a Loving Husband & Father

It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved DongJean Sean Yum. He touched so many lives as a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and friend. DongJean will always be remembered for his charisma and wit, his tenacious perseverance, his humble willingness to support family and friends, and his infectious positivity that would uplift those around him.

On Saturday, August 13, 2022, DongJean passed unexpectedly and his family is deeply saddened by their loss in ways that cannot be expressed. DongJean is survived by his wife SooJung Myung and 2-year-old son Maddox SiWoo Yum, his parents JeanSoo Yum, YeoSook Kim, and his brother DongYoung Yum.

For those who are willing and able to help, contributions can be made here on GoFundMe, as well as via Venmo (@Hanna-Kim-Huerta). The contributions will help to offset funeral costs and medical expenses. Any surplus funds will go towards Maddox SiWoo’s college fund.
