Todd is a football coach, a teacher, and a dedicated man of God. He has spent his life giving to those around him.
Todd has worked at a small school for over 10 years. At this school, he has taught, mentored, and cared for hundreds of children in need. He spends 60 hours a week at the school, cooking lunch, helping other teachers, driving students to field trips, working on things that are broken, etc. You name it and Todd has done it for that school and those children. The picture above shows him with two of his students.
Right now, Todd is recovering from a brain bleed. Numerous scans, tests, and a great deal of pain revealed he had a brain bleed due to a tumor inside his pituitary glad. He was able to have brain surgery quickly and have the 3cm tumor removed. It is now being tested for cancer. Todd is home now and recovering from surgery, which is a wonderful blessing.
While his health is doing better, his wallet has taken a major hit. The school he works at is an independent private school which relies on donations from the community to operate. They have only recently provided insurance to their employees due to financial restraints, and the insurance still isn't very good.
Todd has surgery bills, ER bills, blood test bills, prescription bills, procedure bills, and the list goes on and on. From one MRI alone, Todd's out of pocket cost was $3000.
Additionally, he is still paying off an unrelated $50,000 health bill, completely out of pocket because the school did not offer insurance at the time.
Todd has done so much for so many people. He truly serves and works with all his heart. I know because I worked with him for two years at the same small school. He has given all of himself to all he meets, and now I feel it's time to give back to him.
Please donate and support this wonderful man, who continues to smile and rejoice, even with his mounting expenses and health recovery. Thank you.
