Help support a sexual assault victim

I'm asking for your help in raising money to help a victim of sexual assault as she navigates the healing process. The victim is a disabled single mother whose parents are both deceased.

The victim hosted a Friendsgiving gathering with a few friends and family and her boyfriend was present. During the party, she became disoriented and went to her room where shortly after she blacked out. After all her invited guests had left, she awoke to a stranger performing sexual acts on her without her consent before blacking out again.

Her boyfriend invited a stranger into her home without her knowledge or consent after everyone else had left the gathering, when she was already incapacitated in bed.

Her memory of events is mostly blackness with flashes of memory where she came to before blacking out again, and her symptoms that night resemble those of someone who has been drugged. Between her very unusual reactions that night, including blackouts and missing time, signs point to a drug being involved.

Since the assault, the victim has been struggling with her day to day activities, her job, and she feels unsafe in her own home.

The assault has been especially hard because it was set up by someone who should have cared for her, and in her own home and her own bed.

There are numerous costs associated with her recovery, from therapy, to medications, legal fees, and to purchase cameras and security to keep her and her family safe.
