My name is William Britton. I am a born-again Christian who is also a proud father of the most beautiful little soul I have ever met, my three-year-old son, Isaiah. I am deeply in love with both him and his beautiful mother, my fiancée, Tanya Rogers.

Years ago, I strayed away from God, and during that time, I have been shot 10 times and countless other times God saved me from spending the rest of my life in prison. Three years ago is when I finally decided to come back home to Jesus Christ, the day my son was born. I now wake up every day thanking God for breathing, my family, and my sobriety.

I recently finally took care of a four-year-old warrant and went to jail. I bonded out on a $500 cash bond. It was for a class 5 felony flight, and now I'm fighting for my freedom without a paid lawyer. I am facing two and a half years in prison, but if I can get enough money gathered up, then I will receive probation.

I am no longer the person I was 4 years ago. In these four years since then, I have a three-year-old son, a fiancée, and I am a member of my church at Endurance Church of the Valley. I have a job, and I am finally a productive member of society. But above all that, my son would be confused and devastated at losing me for two and a half years of his life.

I love my family very much. I'm not asking for sympathy, just a chance at raising my son and breaking a generational curse.
