Funeral expenses

**UPDATE** 12/29/2021

Our family spoke to groff funeral home. After figuring out what we need as far as death certificate, transportation fees, cremation and everything we are looking at just around $5000. And that's without all the bells and whistles. We were able to say our last goodbyes today and they did an amazing job at having dad look like dad if that makes sense. The obituary will be posted sometime tonight or tomorrow. And tomorrow he will be cremated. Please keep sharing and help us get the word out everywhere possible. Flyers are being put up in our community and we are all trying to pull together all that we can to make this work. Thank you for everyone's support, help and donations. 

**UPDATE** 12/27/2021

Dad (George) passed away at about 3 a.m. He expressed that he was ready and I was able to be on the phone (wish it could've been in person) as it happened. He wanted to go natutally without machines. He went peacefully. As of now we are working on getting him moved back to lancaster pa. Hes currently in baltimore Maryland. And working on funeral planning and expenses. So please get the word out so we can do something special for my dad! Thank you to those who have already donated. R.i.pm. daddy. I love you so much. 

My name is Brittany Stoltz (maiden name Devonshire). I'm George Devonshire's daughter. It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Over the weekend we received news that my father, George (50), is among his final days. He has an LVAD (left ventricular assistance device) the right side is now weak and he is in kidney failure in the cardiac icu of johns Hopkins. I personally spoke to his doctors and nurse who confirmed that he has a few days in his current condition if not tomorrow. He does not have life insurance and we do not have the funds currently to have a funeral. I would like at least to have him cremated and a small wake for friends and family held at his mother's (Diane) house. Anything that anyone could possibly do to help us would be more than appreciated. I will update as much as possible and anyone who would like more information can do so by messaging me on Facebook or phone.
