The daughter of our beloved former nanny Glenda is in serious need of our help. Jocelyn Marin, a 28 year old mother of three, was admitted to the hospital last week with a rare condition called peripartum cardiomyopathy. Her heart began to weaken during her pregnancy and has gotten significantly worse since giving birth to her newborn son Glenn last month. Given the gravity of her situation, she was airlifted from Apple Valley Hospital to Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center in San Diego where she could receive better care. Her doctors have informed her that she will need a heart transplant in the near future and will need to consider relocating her family to the San Diego area to continue getting the best care possible. Her three small boys -- Damian, Jason and Glenn (all under age 5) -- are being taken care of right now by her husband Dain and mother Glenda, but the financial strain on their family is growing and will only continue to become much more unwieldy - especially in light of COVID-19. Anything you can give will truly help this wonderful family immensely. Thank you so much.
