The LAYC community is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our beloved colleague, friend, and long-time Promotor, Jorge Orozco. Over the 12 years he was part of our LAYC family, he positively impacted the lives of hundreds of young people, supporting, listening, and guiding. While Jorge was always one to shy away from the spotlight, we want to shine a very bright light on his legacy -- a legacy that will live on in the countless youth whose lives are forever changed because of him. If you spent a little time with Jorge, then you would know he loved to laugh, joke and play pranks. Jorge will be missed by colleagues who became friends and participants who became family. Jorge was a caring and proud father of two young children, who he leaves behind, along with his wife and extended family. We have set up this page to help his family with funeral expenses and support any needs his children may have as they cope with this tragic loss.
