In the early hours of a violent storm, the Cook family’s home was struck by lightning, sparking a fire while Kimberly, Jeff and their grandson, Carson, were asleep. The loud boom woke them up, and they quickly realized the house was filling with smoke. In a courageous effort to save their home, Kimberly and Jeff fought the fire until the fire department arrived. Thanks to their bravery, the house was spared from complete destruction. Unfortunately, the damage was still extensive, and the Cook family now faces the difficult task of rebuilding.

Kimberly, who works as a General Manager for Arby’s in Mauston, is a well-loved member of the community. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and raising chickens, and is known for her warmth and kindness. If you’ve ever visited her store, you know how welcoming and caring she is.
