Help Alex rebuild his life after devastating fire

Hi everyone!

On the night of August 10th, a fire caused by a storm started at 3255 North Marietta Ave on the top floor of the house, where three college students, Alex, Trevor, and Nathan,  live(d ). The entire back and top floor of the house was destroyed. Although no people were hurt, Alex and I's sweet guinea pigs (Oliver and Twist) and rabbit (Charles) were sadly victims of the fire, as well as a dog (Tens) that we were petsitting. Unfortunately, everyone has had to move out immediately and their lease is over. They loved living on Marietta and are so sad to leave!

I am preparing this fundraiser for Alex Kalinyen, the owner of the guinea pigs and rabbit, whose name was on the lease. His room was at the back of the house where the fire started, so none of his personal belongings survived. He is a computer engineering student at MSOE and serves at a restaurant called Ricardo's to pay for his college. He is at the moment safe, but very distraught at losing everything, which is why I decided to reach out to the kind world and see if they might help. Having moved out just under a year ago last September, most of the items he had in his room and purchased for the rest of the house(replaceable or irreplaceable) were new. This is an overwhelmingly horrible way to begin the Fall semester.

Any amount from anyone will help! I know it seems like a lofty goal, but there were very valuable and invaluable items that are now lost forever. This amount asked for is less than what was worth inside the house- and we thought, might as well aim for an amount that can help Alex start over in a new place. In addition to the personal belongings and items in his room, this amount is going towards everything else he had purchased (like furniture, TV's, decorations) that went elsewhere in the house. He did not have renter's insurance, so we are very grateful for anything. Thank you for your help and understanding.
