Turner family fire fund

Hi my name for anyone who doesn't know us is Chris Turner,last week while at work my family suffered a horrible financial loss when we were notified our family home in Watkins Glen had caught fire and was a complete loss. Now I'm not one to ask for help , honestly I hate it , I'm sorry to even ask but sometimes life gives us no option. The same week the house burnt me and my wife Steph were also layed off from 2 of our jobs . See were hard working folks just like you that suffered a loss we obviously weren't prepared for. My home wasn't insured due to the way the foundation was built by the previous owner and new state law , I lost the grandfathered policy during the plague of 2019 and the insurance company was closed. So now my home is a complete loss and zero backup. Things that morning continued to get worse when the investigators told us the loss was the work of a arsonist . I could continue talking about this tragedy for a while but I'm gunna get to the point. I need the money to remove the remains of our home mainly . It was only half burnt and part of the structure remained standing and is a hazard to anyone who may enter it ( neighborhood kids) . The house is shaky enough I elected to protect my friends and family and not try to recover any of my possessions that may have survived, enough loss occurred and I refuse to risk the well-being of any human beings regardless of how badly I want too . I lost everything personally, everything. That house raised 2 generations of turners and was originally built by my father Mark . It's heart breaking but it has to go . I need to do this as fast as possible not only for safety but I have to sell the land to pay off the remaining mortgage to a loving , generous local family who helped us buy the home 10 yrs ago . Once again I'm so embarrassed and humbled by this entire scenario from the loss of the home and my things to the vulnerability of not only admitting I need help , but just asking for help in general. This isn't how I roll . I'm a stand your ground kinda man and you get what you work for ....but this time a criminal took what my family worked for. Me and Mrs turner love and appreciate you all and so do our 4 kids . If you can't donate we understand and no hard feelings I promise ,but please share the post in hopes my family can rebound from this tragedy as we work with law enforcement to bring this suspect to justice as they know who did it. He's a vagrant and bum so I'll never recover anything from him personally I feel unfortunately. It's bad enough he's committed multiple felonies and was released due to bail reform as he awaits trial . And he lives among us getting handouts while my family suffers .
