Help my dad with his cancer treatment

Donation protected

Hello everyone,

I am starting this fundraiser to get some help for my dad, Michael Conner.  For those of you who don’t know him, my dad is a strong, proud family man.  He would never be comfortable asking for help even when he needs it.  So I am asking on his behalf because I believe the need for help will only grow in the next several months.  My dad has taught me that you can achieve anything if you work hard and believe in yourself.  He first laid eyes on my mom when he was 11.  He told his friend “One day I’m going to marry that girl.”  And he did.  Despite several monumental challenges along the way, they are still happy and together 50 years later.  He started working at the age of 17 to support me and my mom.  When they had two more kids and we outgrew our house, he remodeled it (by hand with a few brothers and friends!), more than doubling the square footage.  He did not graduate high school, yet has been successfully running his own business for 40 years.  All of this shows dedication and hard work.  My dad never gives up and I’m counting on that to help him through this next challenge...

Three weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer in his bladder, kidney and renal vein.  He and my mom have done a TON of research and have decided not to go the western medicine route of chemotherapy, radiation or surgery.  Since toxins are what caused the cancer, putting even stronger toxins in his body does not make sense to them.  He has already made changes such as quitting smoking, cutting out sugar, and eating only healthy, organic foods.  He has begun natural treatments which include essiac tea, detoxifying smoothies, Bach flower tinctures, supplements, visualization, and many others.  Most importantly, he is hopeful and thinking positively and we are trying to make sure that everyone who speaks with him maintains that positivity.  After making these changes and starting these treatments, he is feeling better than he has in years and many of his symptoms have disappeared.  So we know he is heading in the right direction.

My dad is self-employed and at this point is still working 4 days a week.  We are hoping that will continue, but some of these treatments may eventually make it difficult to work as much.  My mother does not work and has her hands full researching and managing his natural treatments.  Also, they have no health insurance.  They just moved and used most of their retirement to purchase their mobile home.  All these treatments are rather expensive.  We are concerned about whether they can afford to continue the treatments that are currently working so well.  I would hate to think that a lack of funds could be the reason we lose him.

Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.  If you don’t feel comfortable donating on this platform, please feel free to contact me directly.  If you are not able to offer funds, we will gladly accept your prayers and healing thoughts.

Also, if you are willing, please share this with your friends and family so we can spread the message.

Thanks for your love and support! Calina
