Let's help make Babes' kidney transplant happen!

Babes' kidneys have failed.

Babes Cagape has been a good friend of mine for several years, and she was a former colleague and fellow kindergarten teacher in Hong Kong. She is a cheerful person whose bubbly personality brightens up the day of those around her. She has a caring heart for little children in school and has the natural talent and instinct to look after the needs of others.

 

She is also an active member of the Missionary Families of Christ, serving the singles ministry with her husband Elmer for over seven years. Her zeal to serve is evident in her gift of prepping great food during special occasions, hands-on approach to community events and church activities.

 

Unfortunately, due to her immuno-compromised health, her kidney condition has deteriorated over the past years. Since April 2020, she has undergone dialysis two times a week. It's heartbreaking for her to go through the procedure during tightened restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic. She was also diagnosed with pneumonia. Despite it all, she remains an active member of the MFC community in Sydney, Australia, serving the singles section even if she is currently in the Philippines with her medical condition.

 

God-willing, she will undergo a kidney transplant by the end of 2021. In light of this, I am personally appealing for your kindness and assistance to help her get through life's obstacles. While she endures the pain and loneliness on her own, we can certainly help ease the financial burden and medical expenses.
