Help Save Farjana: A young Mother fighting for her life
Donation protected
Farjana Mahmud Shithi, a lively 31-year-old mother, wife, and dedicated professional, is in a critical battle for survival following a devastating medical ordeal that began nearly four months ago.
She suffered a massive brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured Grade 1 meningioma brain tumor and arteriovenous malformation (AVM). Since then, she has undergone five critical brain surgeries and has remained in a coma for now
Farjana is more than a patient — she’s a devoted mother to a 2-year-old son, a loving wife, and the sole breadwinner for her extended family. She works as an engineer and merchandiser at El Corte Inglés (Bangladesh liaison office), supporting not only her husband and child but also her mother and younger siblings after her father’s passing.
She has carried her family with strength and grace. Now, in her most vulnerable moment, she needs all of us to carry her.

A Family in Crisis
As Farjana was rushed into emergency surgery, her husband, Tahidul Islam, also lost his job. He is now jobless, devastated, and caring for their toddler alone while facing unbearable uncertainty and financial hardship.
Despite five surgeries over four long months, Farjana remains unconscious and fully dependent intensive care. Doctors cannot confirm when — or if — she will wake up. Her recovery, if possible, will require:
• Ongoing Intensive care and medical procedure
• Further neurosurgical procedures and medical evaluations
• Long-term brain rehabilitation and physiotherapy
• Lifesaving medications and daily hospital expenses
• Emotional and financial support for her young son and family
⸻
Why Your Support Matters
This devastating situation struck without warning, and her family was not prepared for this emotional or financial burden. With no income and medical expenses mounting daily, we are urgently seeking your help.
Your contribution will go directly toward:
• Continuing Farjana’s intensive treatment
• Covering future rehabilitation and possible surgeries
• Supporting her child and family during this crisis
• Offering hope to a shattered family
Her recovery may take months or even years — there is no clear timeline — but with your help, there is still hope.
