Supplies for a School in Bangladesh
Donation protected
Over the past year my students have engaged in an exchange that has led to amazing discussions and growth about different cultures. In exploring these differences we were also able to uncover our commonalities.
Tehchnology and electricity in Bangladesh is limited, so I'm hoping to raise $1500 to provide five Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 devices, a projector, two 16W solar panels, and three portable power banks.
This summer, I will be taking these supplies as an unofficial ambassador and volunteering in Bangladesh, hosting trainings, and showing teachers and students at The Carter Academy how to use their new technology.
Your contributions - whether it's $1 or $100 - will benefit the students in Bangladesh.
This exchange is being fostered through School-2-School, a unique program that fosters global awareness and mutual understanding by connecting American students to their peers in a school in the Muslim World and raising funds to help schools in need. Your support will allow these same students to engage in a higher level of exchange with students in the US next year, and continue to learn about each other's culture and overcome stereotypes.
The S2S program has benefited thousands of students over the last ten years in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine, Panama, the Philippines, Uganda, and the United States.
