There are no words big enough to carry the weight of this loss. On June 6th, our community was shaken to its core when 16-year-old Ryan Simpson beloved son ,friend ,classmate and teammate - was taken far to soon in a tragic accident.

Ryan was a light. He had a heart that made others feel seen, a smile that made you feel like you belonged. He was the kind of kid that left an impression whether through kindness in the hallways or laughter on the field and track, and compassion on the mat. The pain of his absence is deep, raw, and physical. You can feel it in the quiet moments, the tears, and the silence where is voice should be.

No parent should ever have to plan their child's funeral. As Ryan's family faces this unimaginable grief, we want to wrap them in the love and support they have always shown others. This fundraiser is a way for us all to come together to help carry some of the weight and help ease the financial burden that comes with laying a child to rest.

No set number can heal a broken heart, but every gift big or small helps. It helps cover service expenses, but more than that it helps remind his family that they are not alone in this. We are here, and we remember Ryan.
