Funeral Expenses

My name is Amy. I am the daughter of Charlene and step daughter of Larry Dement.

Earlier this year, larry was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. He completed chemo and radiation therapy and was able to ring the bell. His cancer was “controlled” we were told. In January, we had some more devestating news. 3 tumors were found on the base of his cerebellum. He completed 10 more rounds of radiation. A peg tube was was placed for nutrition. He couldnt eat or speak much louder than a whisper.

Larry has been my dad since I was 10 years old. We’ve developed a father/daughter relationship so much that I wanted my name changed to Amy David. (David is his middle name)

He didn’t have to be a dad to me or my brothers, but he chose to. Larry has always been a big part of my life and supported me through all Stages of my life. He was strongest, most bravest man I’ve ever known and loved beyond measure.

Prayers for my mother in this hard time as well as the rest of the family. Larry was called home this morning.
