Alicia “Weesha” Denise Vorhes died unexpectedly in Boise, ID on October 8th, 2015 at the age of 31. Alicia is survived by her  daughter Aiyana, her Fiance Ben Haines and son Eli, her Grandmother Barbara Lackey of Hawaii, her Grandfathers David Vorhes of Napa, CA and Jerry Myers of Hawaii, her Sister, brother-in-law, neice and nephew Jessica, Scott, Jayden and Wesley Steele of Idaho. As well as aunts, uncles, and cousins: Brian, Rose, Melody, Andrea, Theresa and Brooke Keith.  She is preceded in death by her father Dwayne Vorhes and his mother, Alicia’s grandmother, Jane Vorhes of Napa, CA.


Alicia was born on August 21st, 1984 in Vallejo, CA to Dwayne and Betty Vorhes. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 2002. She was previously married to Ross Miller, her first husband and father to her only daughter Aiyana and was recently engaged to Ben Haines and mother to his only son Eli Haines.  After moving to Idaho Alicia worked for Citi, HP and numerous other companies as a customer service representative.. Her children will remember her as a silly, bright and genuine mother who loved them unconditionally.


Alicia loved to fish, camp, go shooting and visiting local hot spring with friends and family. She often sang her heart out to songs and was never afraid to be herself regardless of who was around. She was a witty, intelligent, kind, and courageous individual who was passionate about life in general.


A Celebration of life is scheduled for October 13th at 11;:00AM at St Mary’s Episcopal Church located at 219 E 1st St Emmett, ID 83617, with a reception to follow in the hall of the church. Rev Gretchen will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Alicia’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Aiyana’s College GoFundMe at.The  family would like to thank St. Alphonsus ER and Cardiac ICU doctors for their efforts. .
