As many of you know, my dad passed away unexpectedly. His loss in my life, and in the lives of my family and everyone who loved him, has created a hole that cannot be filled.

As his daughter, I had to travel suddenly and unexpectedly back to California to handle my dad’s affairs while in the midst of grieving. Losing my dad feels like losing the air I breathe. He was the funniest, most charismatic, stylish, and unforgettable person I’ve ever known. Everyone felt his presence when he walked into a room and now we all feel his absence.

In the midst of this indescribable heartbreak, I am facing responsibilities I never imagined I would have to navigate, including funeral arrangements, memorial planning, traveling between countries and states, and the many other unexpected costs that come with loss.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Contributions will go toward funeral and memorial expenses in California, and making it possible to celebrate my dad’s life with family and loved ones in his home state of Colorado.
