Logan's Medical Bills

Logan & Kaylee traveled to California to see Trevor & I get married (yay!). The day after the wedding, a group of us met up at the beach in Malibu to continue the celebrations. Unfortunately the waves and undertow were extremely strong that day and Logan got caught up in a huge wave that caused him to somersault underwater and crash down directly onto his right shoulder.

Kaylee first took him to a nearby urgent care where they referred Logan to an emergency room due to the serious nature of his injuries. Once at the hospital, Logan's doctors did CT scans, X-rays, and bloodwork. They found that he had seven broken ribs, a fractured scapula, and a minor lung puncture. Logan stayed in the hospital for over 48 hours recovering and was not medically cleared to fly home due to these injuries. Logan and Kaylee now have to rent a car to drive ourselves across the country to get home safely. Logan will need to continue seeing a doctor back in Wisconsin to ensure he's healing properly and for any additional after-care.

We don't know exactly what the medical bills will come out to, but Logan doesn't currently have health insurance and will need to pay all costs out of pocket. We are estimating the costs to be upwards of $10,000. Any and all contributions would be greatly appreciated as Logan is also out of work right now due to COVID-19.
