Help the Cannon family

Dave has been an outstanding firefighter for the Arvada Fire Protection District for over two decades.

Tragically, Dave suffered a broken neck while at work.  After several surgeries, he is no longer able to work as a firefighter.

I worked on an engine with Dave for 7 years.  He is one of the best firefighters I have ever had the pleasure to work with.  He is a true "blue collar" worker.  Besides his love of helping others and immense skill set, he is a very compassionate and caring person.  He also serves as one of our fire department chaplains.

On 11/10/15 Dave underwent a fifth surgery.  While recovering, another problem was found.  A sixth surgery took place on 11/12/15.  

Dave has continued to be courageous while suffering immense pain.  He is one of the most honest, friendly, and generous persons you could ever meet.

Dave and his wife Jen have three wonderful school age sons who have faithfully stood by his side during these rough times.  Dave's wife Jen is a school teacher.  She has taken time off of work to help, which will take a financial toll on their family.
