Mark & Gracie's Mission Trip

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,

Some of you already know that Gracie and I have decided to join our church, Hope Community Church in Raleigh (www.gethope.net), on a mission trip to Belize at the end of June, but to some of you this is new news…and to all of you, probably a bit of a surprise!  Since moving to Raleigh, we have been attending Hope and really growing, as a family, in our journey with God.  This has been an amazing time and journey for us all!  My journey has brought me to a place of extreme happiness and faithfulness and I'm overwhelmed with joy and a feeling of being truly blessed.  I have learned what it really means to be Christian and I want to help others grow in their journey as I have.  Gracie and I have decided to go on this trip together so, not only can we help others in their journey with Christ, but she and I can grow in our father/daughter relationship.  All of you know how important that is to me…she is my princess.

While there, we will be teaching vacation bible school, Sunday school, assisting with church services, creating garden boxes, and most of all loving these wonderful people while helping them grow on their journey with Christ.  I don't know what this trip will do for the people we are there to help, but I know it will change mine and Gracie’s life forever.  One of the things I am most excited about is meeting and loving on the children.  We plan to stop at an orphanage on our way to the village and Gracie and I have volunteered to help organize our activities while there.   In addition to organizing the activities at the orphanage, I will be working with another male missioner in organizing a prayer walk.  This is a real leap of faith for me.  I'm not well versed on the gospel, but know I can do it!

As you’ve probably already guessed, this isn't free.  We must raise $1800 each to cover our airfare, accommodations, and materials for ministry.  This is where we can use your help.  If you have the ability and can find it in your heart to help in whatever capacity you can, we would be forever grateful.  I realize times are tough and each of you have your own financial responsibilities, so please don't feel obligated to donate.  But I will ask that each of you pray for us and to think of us, should you be able to help financially at some point in the coming weeks.  If you would like to donate directly to Hope for Belize with a check, send me a message or call me and I'll give you the directions on how to do that.  By donating to Hope for Belize, it is tax deductible, but donating through the gofundme account is not.

Thank you so much for your prayers and any donations you might be able to make.  Gracie and I are extremely excited about what lies ahead!

In Christ, Mark and Gracie Mullins
