Thank you for taking the time to visit our Gofundme page.
June 27th, 2024, marked the fourth anniversary of our beloved son Ayaan's return to Allah SWT. In his memory, a group of family and friends has undertaken a significant challenge to climb two formidable mountains to raise funds for the Ayaan JM Trust.
Our first trek was on April 27th, where we conquered Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England at 978 meters (3,209 ft). This demanding hike involved steep, rugged terrain and scrambling. For our second trek on July 6th, we will tackle Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales at 1085 meters (3,560 ft). This year, we have chosen the Watkin Path, known for being one of the longest and most challenging routes to the summit. This steep trek requires scrambling over hard terrain, making it one of the toughest paths to the top.
Whilst we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone's support so far, we still need help to complete our current Masjid Project that was started back in 2021. We have been working extremely hard every year, trying to raise money to complete this very special project Insha’Allah.
Please support us through your kind donations and by sharing our page with your friends and family. We also want to express our gratitude to everyone who has continuously contributed and has never stopped helping us when we've needed it most.
Current Masjid project update:
Alhamdulillah, most of the construction of the main building and structure of the masjid is now finished. We are currently focusing on both the exterior and interior aspects.
The window grills have been successfully crafted and installed, though it took a bit of time due to special orders. Interior plastering is now completed, and we're gearing up to start the wiring soon, Insha’Allah. Over the last few years, due to various reasons, the cost of materials and construction has continuously been extremely high. Adjustments to the design are continually being made to ensure the feasibility of continuing the work. Our focus is now set on finalising the front entrance structure and implementing electrical wiring throughout the building, Insha’Allah.

Why Masjid?
Like all parents, we want to leave something special for our children. Anyone who knew Ayaan will understand what a unique and special individual he was, and how attached to our beautiful deen he was. Ayaan, just like the meaning of his beautiful name, he truly was ‘A gift from Allah SWT’. In memory of our special boy we wanted to do something that would not only remind us of his beautiful soul and kind nature but something that will benefit many for years and years to come Insha’Allah.
With Allah’s Mercy and blessings, we have been able to donate land that belonged to our late father to build a much needed public community masjid In Bangladesh, Syhelt.
The Masjid is being constructed in a busy rural area in Bangladesh, specifically in a local market area where many workers, visitors, and residents gather daily. It will serve as a community hub for local residents and provide a water pump. By making even a small donation, you can contribute to this incredible project, offering locals and travellers a place to pray and access fresh, clean water. The Masjid will also play a pivotal role in supporting the local community through various services such as education, charity, family support, and holy events.
Why help?
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]
Alhamdulillah!!
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our GoFundMe page, took the time to read our story, and generously contributed. Your support is truly appreciated, and it brings us one step closer to completing our goal.
Jazāk Allāhu Khayran
(May God reward you with all goodness)
