S. David Brooks & Beth Brooks (Blanchard)

I am Jeff Yeager. A friend and fraternal brother to Dave and Beth. Dave was State Master Councilor my 1st year as a DeMolay State Officer and we have been friends since those times in the early 80s. I also knew Beth and her brother Mark from then as well.

Dave and Beth had a series of unfortunate events recently. They came home to a fire in their laundry room. Although the fire was pretty well contained saving their home, the smoke and heat damage is quite extensive making the house unlivable currently. Dave also has some medical/health issues. They are diabetes-related and caused Dave to need surgery and the removal of the toes of his right foot. Dave was recently transferred into a rehab facility in Mansfield. Insurance should "eventually" cover much of the expenses of the fire, but Dave had recently started a new job and the medical bills are a little more complicated due to being between insurance coverages. Needless to say, they are in a challenging time and could use some financial assistance. Please join in helping this wonderful couple through this time.
