Meatball's Surgery

I rescued Meatball when she was a 4 month old lost pup from down south. Yesterday we celebrated her 1st birthday with a long walk chasing sticks... while slightly tangled in her leash, a bicycle rode by and she bolted. The leash tightened and swept her legs out from underneath and she did a little bit of a barrel roll followed by the most horrifying yelp/scream/cry I have ever seen. We rushed to the closest ER and received a scary diagnosis: Traumatic right medial patella luxation and a torn ligament, needing surgery ASAP. I was quoted just under $4k for the procedure. 

When I rescued the Meatenator I took on 100% responsibility for her well being for life. No matter what happens I will find a way to pay for this and take care of my girl. I never like asking for money... but I was overwhelmed with people that wanted to support Meaty any way they could, so here I am.

My life was instantly changed for the better the minute she walked into my house. That wiggly butt and wagging tail takes away all the stresses of work and life and money and everything.... I know all of you feel the same about your fur children.
