With deep sadness, we are reaching out on behalf of my aunt Emily, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Emily received her sudden diagnosis just before Christmas, and two weeks later had to undergo a tylectomy. After her pathology results came back, we received the devastating news that she will have to undergo another surgery and chemotherapy.

My aunt has always been the one taking care of everyone and assisting those who need help. She has the biggest heart and has even taken care of me when I was a child. I know this process is going to be very hard for her because she is no longer able to work and is also dealing with nerve damage from this last surgery. She has already received medical bills that are way more than she can afford. So not only is she fighting for her life, she is also being burdened with this financial struggle.

Emily is a strong woman and has never asked for help nor will she, so that is why I am reaching out for her. I am creating this fundraiser to help ease that burden, so she can focus on what matters the most, her recovery. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly towards supporting her medical expenses and basic needs during this hard time.
