My name is Haley, and on Wednesday August 3rd, my car was stolen off Blankenbaker Parkway in Louisville Kentucky. Today, upon reading the news, I learned my car had been located and involved in a dangerous high speed chase with several police in Indiana. I saw my car that I had worked so hard for on the side of the interstate completely destroyed. I’m asking help to help me get a new car. I’m a full time college student and work a full time job. I bought the car at 18 right out of high school and had it paid off by the time I was 21. I’ve always worked very hard for what I have. Along with my car my school laptop, money and wallet were in the vehicle. He took everything I had and I am left in a state of total shock and desperation. I would appreciate any help I could get and I want to formally thank the Harrison County police and all responding officers for getting this criminal off the streets. And I thank WLKY for giving me the platform to tell and share my story. There are still good people in this world- right around the corner.
