Blue needs OUR help!

If you’ve ever met my friend Blue, you’ll remember her fun, bubbly and generous spirit.

Blue is always the first to help others without hesitation or judgement.

On Saturday, September 17th Blue was on her way to the Boots on the Ground charity motorcycle ride when she lost control of her bike while travelling Eastbound on the 403.

Right now, she NEEDS OUR HELP!

She is in critical condition with over 70% of the bones in her body fractured. In the coming weeks, she will undergo several operations to repair the damage.

Both of her ankles are shattered, her left shin and knee are badly broken, her entire left rib cage is broken, left collar bone is cracked, bones in her back (L1 to L4) are chipped, broken wrist and the list goes on.

Family is what is most important to Blue.

She loves spending time with her family; whether she is hanging out, watching movies or playing video games with her “ninjas”, sharing a meal or helping with renovations, Blue is happiest when she is with her family.

When she talks about her family, her heart shines so bright she sparkles.

Also very important to Blue, is her motorcycle family.

She is known in the community for bidding on (and buying) many prizes at charity events. She even donates many back to give others the opportunity to benefit from the prize and of course, to raise more money for charity.

Blue doesn’t need to pay to ride, but every weekend, you can be sure she will pop up at a charity ride supporting causes that are important to her.

It has been said that “Blue is a shining light in the Southern Ontario Motorcycle Community and we won’t find a bigger heart on two wheels”.

If you know her, you know this to be true.

Blue is a woman of faith with the heart of a true humanitarian.

She sees the value in helping any way she can – and she does so without hesitation!

She takes the time to talk to anyone who is struggling and shares from the heart to help encourage others.

She is fiercely independent and very stubborn so her family and friends are asking for your support to help her get back on her feet.

Please pray for her, for her family, and all those who love her.

Donations will be used to help with:

• Basic living expenses as she won’t be able to work for a while

• Costs associated with extensive rehabilitation and/or mobility devices

• In-home support

Blue needs our help! Let’s show her what can happen when people come together to help.

Cecilia, Blue's daughter, has created a bank account under her name where all the funds raised for Blue will be placed. Once Blue is able, the account will be transferred to her. Until then, Cecilia is her beneficiary.
