My name is Sherika. I’m a mother of 8. Our family is heartbroken to share the sudden and tragic loss of a 19-year-old young man whose life was taken far too soon over an order of french fries at a Fort Worth apartment complex. A disagreement between friends turned into an unimaginable act of violence, and now a family is left trying to cope with a loss that feels impossible to understand.
He was only 19, with his whole future ahead of him. He was a loving son, a protective brother, and a fun-loving uncle to his three nieces. He brought laughter, energy, and love to those around him, and his absence has left a deep void in our hearts. He leaves behind two grieving parents, seven siblings, and three nieces who loved him dearly. This tragedy has deeply affected the entire family emotionally and mentally as they try to process such a sudden loss. We are asking for support to help the family during this difficult time as they take time away from work, seek counseling, and focus on healing.
Donations will go toward helping the family manage day-to-day needs and emotional support resources while they navigate this painful journey. Any amount helps, and if you're unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping the family in your thoughts and prayers means so much. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support. #Forever19
