All of us have different chapters in the book of our life. Some are expected and almost preplanned, while others come out of no where. October 30th, 2015 started a new, gut wrenching chapter for all of us, but nothing remotely compared to our beautiful friend, daughter, mother, wife, sister, Georgia.
My name is Kim Hutchens and I am reaching out to respectfully plead for your help.
Shortly after her son's wedding and a series of tests, Georgia was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
Unfortunately, this horrible, vicious disease was found throughout her body attacking the brain, bones (shoulder & hip), breast, lymph nodes, and lungs.
Georgia has fought strong every day throughout aggressive rounds of radiation and surgery . She has had 10 days of brain radiation and 10 days of radiation on her hip and spine. Her surgery was to remove her ovaries as the cancer was found to grow based on estrogen production.
Georgia's road ahead will include more MRI's and scans along with being on medication that will hopefully help slow the cancer growth. This is what we know to be true. The unknown is the most fearful part of this journey.
Cancer can be a heavy economic burden for anyone going through this. Along with all other living expenses, there are mounting medical costs, hospital bills, lost wages and much, much more. Theses expenses add up quickly. In this time of need, I implore all of you who reads this to please consider monetarily helping this family who would, and has helped anyone at anytime. Whether it was a needed laugh, a shoulder to cry on, a hug that never ends or much more, they have never turned anyone away. NOW, it' s our time to help!
Thank you in advance, This chapter in Georgia's book is an emotional one. It is for all of us. However, even through the tears and sadness, the anxiety and fear, this chapter is also amazing! With Georgia's faith, God's healing hands and the strength from family and friends, she has a new outlook on life and what a beautiful future she has to come, whatever that may be.
