Tyler Reed's Rehabilitation to Walk
Donation protected
On 1/31/2016 Tyler Reed was in an accident on his motorcycle after a dog ran out in the road, causing him to swerve to miss it, he hit the curb, throwing him from his bike into a fire hydrant. The result is a broken right tibia and fibula and a shattered knee cap on the left leg. Walking will prove to be his biggest battle, but he's lucky to be alive and now has a lengthy recovery to walk again. His surgery, hospital stay and rehabilitation cost are projected to be over $400,000.
He will be out of work for the next 3-6 months and his 4 year old son Callen has been attending the Treatment Learning Center for Autism since he was diagnosed with autism at 18 months old. Tyler and Alyssa have had a private secondary insurance for Callen to help pay for some of this $55,000 a year therapy school. They also have a 1 year old son named Crew. The money raised will help keep Callen in this school, help compensate reduced income Tyler will receive on medical leave and Tyler's medical expenses.
We will have this Go Fund Me page up for the next few months, any donations recieved to this great family would be most appreciated. Tyler and Alyssa will be forever in your debt.
