Help a Mother and Daughter Find a Home

Story

My mother and I are in a housing crisis. To make a very long story short... March 1st, we were supposed to be moving from our apartment in South Florida, which was being sold, to our new apartment in North Florida. Three days before our lease was ending, we found out the financial support fell through. There was nothing neither I nor the apartment complex could do. We had to leave. I paid the movers to put our belongings in storage. I found the cheapest hotel (safest) I could find nearby. We've been here ever since and have used all of our money for food, paying bills, etc. We've exhausted EVERY option. We don't have wealthy friends or family. There isn't anyone that has the money to help us. We simply don't know what to do. A friend suggested starting a GoFundMe. So here I am. I am 56 and because of an ocular virus (HPV), my vision is limited. My mother, God bless her, is 81 and after a hip replacement just last year, doesn't walk very well. Her femur was broken during that surgery. We've worked hard all of our lives and have always helped others whenever we could.
