Chrissy and Johnny's Story

While out with her husband, Chrissy at the age of 35 had a major brain aneurysm, something she was extremely lucky to survive.  After spending months in ICU, hospital and rehab, she returned home to recover with help and care from her loving and devoted husband, Johnny.  The neurological impact was life changing.  Chrissy was no longer able to work, or even carry out a normal daily or social routine.  Johnny, a self employed carpenter, carried the financial burden while also caring for Chrissy every day.  Despite the doctors not expecting her to survive the initial surgery, over the next 14 years, and countless doctor and neurological appointments, she and Johnny persevered.  Chrissy never lost her sense of humor or energetic spirit.  Despite her difficult situation, she even generously found time and energy to reach out to friends and family in need.    Chrissy's story to this point is miraculous, her chance of not only surviving, but thriving was 1 in a million. 

But, that's not where her story ends.  In the fall of 2017, Chrissy had a SECOND major brain aneurysm.  She again, against all odds, survived the surgery.  And again is having to go through countless doctor and neurological appointments, and months of rehab.  All with the loving, never-wavering support of Johnny.   Chrissy is home, once again, and still has her wacky sense of humor and energetic spirit despite knowing she still has a long road ahead of her.  And Johnny, has been by her side through every minute.
